So I FINALLY had the chance to watch the season priemere of dancing w/ the stars. I actually never have watched the show in the past, but when I heard Kate would be on it I HAD to watch. Look, anyone who knows me knows I am (well was) the biggest fan of Jon & Kate Plus 8, and I especially liked watching Kate. I felt: finally. A great mom who has her priorities straight. [Secondly, I am not one to side w/ media influences. I like to take a situation and determine my own opinion on the topic] But honestly I have really miss the Old Kate. I just dont understand how someone goes from 'family first' to 'dancing on the stars'. Now I know she has a resposibility to raise her family with mainly her income and clearly working in television has greatly helped. But why all the sudden need to become a celebrity? I am sure the repercussions of Jon and Kate Plus 8 would help sustain the financial situation, but apparently not. I dont know am I COMPLETLEY out of line?
